La perspectiva contemporánea de la educación ha considerado que dentro del proceso educativo es indispensable la evaluación como una parte esencial de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje. Realizar este proceso de manera adecuada requiere de una formación especializada que nos permita conocer tanto el proceso en sí mismo, así como los elementos involucrados en él y la pertinencia de hacer uso de las técnicas e instrumentos más adecuados y necesarios para cada tipo de evaluación. El conocimiento de los instrumentos de evaluación es una parte fundamental de la formación para la evaluación para el aprendizaje, para fines didácticos existen dos manera de clasificar a estos instrumentos: cuantitativos y cualitativos. A través de una serie de videos, actividades y ejercicios, se pretende que en este curso conozcas el concepto, las características, el diseño, la elaboración y el uso de resultados de cuatros de los instrumentos más utilizados en el enfoque cuantitativo de la evaluación para el aprendizaje: las pruebas objetivas, la lista de cotejo, el quiz y la rúbrica. Al término del curso: El participante diseñará los instrumentos de evaluación para el aprendizaje que integran el enfoque cuantitativo para sustentar evaluaciones pertinentes, altamente formativas y éticas.

          We are presently facing a potential extinction crisis for the order Primates (and many other life forms). In this course we will learn about threats to primate conservation globally. We will be using the, “Primates in Peril: The World’s 25 Most Endangered Primates 2018-2020” by Schwitzer et al. (2019) as a basis for the discussion of global primate populations. We will investigate conservation status, threats to conservations, success and failures within protecting our closest evolutionary cousins.

                In the education of children with visual impairment, there is at present a global movement away from segregated special schooling, and towards inclusive neighbourhood schools. Inclusion provides an opportunity for everyone, teachers as well as learners, to become more acquainted about life with visual impairment and to overcome some of the barriers of difference which have existed in the past. But if it is to be successful, teachers and others require key skills and insights in order to create classroom environments which fully accommodate the learning needs of children with visual impairment. In this course, you will discover the visually impaired child by recognizing that there are many different eye conditions and that each affects learning and behavior differently. During the course, we will explore the Expanded Core Curriculum, which is a collection of content areas that teachers integrate into the core curriculum to give visually impaired learners access to knowledge that sighted learners gain through observation. You will also learn how to make your classroom, the content, your teaching, and the assessments accessible through curriculum differentiation strategies. By the end of the course you will have the necessary tools to create empowering classrooms where you can teach children with visual impairment in an inclusive, accessible, and attuned space. You will be able to purchase a Verified Certificate if you wish to show evidence of your achievements, but this is optional, and you may apply for Financial Aid if you are unable to pay the certificate fee.

                  How do gamers cause things to happen when they hit buttons on their controller? How does the computer keep track of gamer's scores? This class teaches the concepts of nested loops, events, and variables. For each concept, we'll start by helping you connect real-world experiences you are already familiar with to the programming concept you are about to learn. Next, through a cognitively scaffolded process we'll engage you in developing your fluency with problem solving with nested loops, events, and variables in a way that keeps frustration at a minimum. Along the way you will learn about the common challenges or "bugs" students have with these concepts as well as ways to help them find and fix those concepts. You'll also be guided in running classroom discussions to help students develop deeper understanding of these concepts. Finally, you'll learn how to develop low-frustration learning experiences for learning programming via Parsons' Problems., Additionally, you will create an email to either a counselor, administrator or parent organization to help them understand the value of all students taking computer science.

Ce cours porte sur les frontières qui, à toutes les échelles, séparent ou plutôt produisent des collectifs sociaux. Il s'agira aussi bien des frontières inter-étatiques qui différencient les nations que de la limite entre l'espace domestique et l'espace public, qui met à part les femmes et les hommes. Le cours commence par un module qui pose le cadre théorique; il est assuré par l'ensemble de l'équipe pédagogique. Les modules suivants, chacun assuré par un enseignant différent, portent sur des cas et des thèmes spécifiques. Ils sont riches en exemples et se fondent beaucoup sur le commentaire de documents visuels, de toutes sortes. L'évaluation finale porte sur l'analyse d'un extrait de film. Après avoir suivi ce MOOC, les étudiant.e.s maitriseront les principales théories et concepts de l'approche constructiviste en sciences sociales, et seront à même d'analyser comment, dans diverses situations, l'espace est partie prenante dans la fabrication du même et de l'autre.
